An Inquest Concerning Teeth: Soundwalk on Crosby Beach

  • Marine Crescent Liverpool, England, L22 8QP United Kingdom (map)

This workshop invites participants to explore the Liverpool coastline through attentive listening.
A guided slow coastal sound walk by Sara Wolff along Crosby Beach. Participants analyse and translate sound into visual ‘sound maps’ —by drawing sketches and making listening notes—drawing on food analogies to capture timbre and texture along the way.
By the end of the walk, we will discuss the sounds we heard while enjoying a coast-inspired Samphire Salad and Cockles dish made by @heavydigestations
Commissioned by Liverpool Independent Biennial
Produced by @post.liang and @heavydigestations
